Birthday at the Vineyard

    

It's been a busy, but full, season. One of the things that has made it full has been celebrating big moments in my friends's lives. One of my best friends recently turned 21, and so we took her out to one of our favorite vineyards to celebrate. The girls in these photos have been some of my best friends since my first year of college. What I love about our friendship is that all of us are very different. We come from different families, cultures, and all have unique personalities. On paper, we definitely should not have come together. We met through our first year Bible study small group. For the first couple months of Bible Study, we were apprehensive of each other, but by the end of the year we were calling each other sisters. Our relationships show just how powerful of a welder God can be in relationships. It's bittersweet to think about the past four years- we'll be going our separate ways soon, but it's comforting to know that we can always come back to each other for love, laughs, and comfort.
