Saturday at the Pumpkin Patch

This fall has fortunately and  unfortunately a brought a lot of activity. While there have been definite stressful times, I have also had some amazing experiences (more on those in future posts!). Recently one of my best friends came back for homecoming and so we took a trip to the pumpkin patch (because without pumpkins, does fall even exist?). It was my first time pumpkin picking since I was a kid. I had forgotten however how heavy pumpkins were, so in these photos I was struggling to hold them. I also didn't realize how expensive a pumpkin could be so my best friend and I bought small ones from the gift shop lol. I will miss fall, and have been reluctant to be excited for Christmas since that means the end of fall. However, with the end of Thanksgiving I'm finally getting into the Christmas mood- so stay tuned for the next mont...

Birthday at the Vineyard

     It's been a busy, but full, season. One of the things that has made it full has been celebrating big moments in my friends's lives. One of my best friends recently turned 21, and so we took her out to one of our favorite vineyards to celebrate. The girls in these photos have been some of my best friends since my first year of college. What I love about our friendship is that all of us are very different. We come from different families, cultures, and all have unique personalities. On paper, we definitely should not have come together. We met through our first year Bible study small group. For the first couple months of Bible Study, we were apprehensive of each other, but by the end of the year we were calling each other sisters. Our relationships show just how powerful of a welder God can be in relationships. It's bittersweet to think about the past four years- we'll be going our separate ways soon, but it's comforting to know that we can always come back to ea...
