Charleston Photo Diary

As mentioned in my latest Monthly Favorites, last month I took a day trip to Charleston with my roommates. Charleston is easily one of the most charming cities of the south. Its rich history, beautiful architecture, and waterfront views are hard to compete with. It also has great restaurants and shopping on King Street. One of my favorite bloggers, Julia Hengel of Gal Meets Glam, lives there and uses the city as an amazing back drop for her photos. So of course, my roommates and I had to do our own photo shoot, which we choose to do on the famous Rainbow Row.

Besides seeing Rainbow Row, other highlights of the day included having brunch at a great restaurant called Blossom, shopping on Kings Street (and finding some great sales), and of course seeing the famous Pineapple Statue. Since this was a short trip I'm excited to visit the city again for a longer time, but glad I got to have a fun time there with friends!
